Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. – Management Services has been retained to manage Washington Square, a 137,000 square foot facility located at 1010 Washington Boulevard in Stamford, Connecticut, which was recently acquired by an affiliate of BPG Properties, Ltd.

BPG Properties, Ltd. (“BPG”), the operating affiliate of Berwind Property Group, Ltd., elected to keep Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. on board as the management agent for the building. Ashforth was originally awarded this management assignment in 1998 and at that time re-bid all building contracts resulting in significant savings in the building’s operational costs. In addition, Washington Square received a prestigious BOMA award since Ashforth took over as the management agent. Washington Square was previously owned by SSR Realty Group.

Capital Improvement plans are underway which include a major lobby renovation. Currently Washington Square is 86 percent leased with Philips, J. Brown Agency, Japan Racing, Grey Healthcare and Armada Shipping as notable tenants.

This eleven-story building developed in 1988 is located in the heart of downtown Stamford, Connecticut and has convenient access to both Interstate 95 and the Stamford train station. Recently Washington Square announced a brand new state-of-the-art fitness center on the first floor – an amenity for all building employees to enjoy.
