July 9, 2005 - September 30, 2005
Oregon Historical Society, 1200 SW Park Avenue, Portland, Oregon

Each year since 1988, property owner, manager and developer Ashforth Pacific has commissioned an artist to celebrate the city of Portland. The artwork must depict both the east and west sides of the city and show the Willamette River itself.

The original works hang in Ashforth Pacific’s offices in Portland’s Lloyd district. The firm sends a poster of the art to partners and clients each year.

Eastside Meets Westside - The Ashforth Pacific Art Collection is the first public showing of this distinctive collection. The 17 pieces are by a list of talented Northwest artists, including:

  • Dennis Cunningham
  • George Johanson
  • Manda Beckett
  • Terry Toedtemeier
  • Stephen Hayes
  • Tom Cramer

Paintings, mixed media and photographic works are included.
