Ashforth employee Anthony Scraders, security guard at Nyala Farms Corporate Campus, was recognized on March 23, 2006 by tenant Deloitte and Touche for his positive attitude and overall friendliness.

Theresa Collins, director of human resources at Deloitte and Touche, requested that Tony be invited to a luncheon honoring his service.

He was recognized with a plaque and an opportunity to chat. He was commended for his cheerful demeanor, his “heys” and “good mornings”, the playful teasing on Fridays of the staff leaving early, the 95 traffic reports and chiding for parking tickets.

During the lunch one of the senior staff members suggested an annual “Tony” award for the Deloitte employee best representing that character of Positive Attitude to be presented by Tony each year. This was adopted and will begin next year.

We congratulate Tony Scraders on his good work and self-appointed role as “Official Greeter” for Nyala Farms.
