In
just one month’s time, Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. – Management
Services, a division of The Ashforth Company, was awarded by
three different owners to manage five more properties in Fairfield
County, CT totaling 187,000 square feet. Ashforth
now manages a total of 3.5 million square feet in Connecticut
and Westchester County, NY.
Chimblo Real
Estate Enterprises selected Ashforth to manage three of their
locations in Greenwich, CT totaling nearly 50,000 square feet:
100 Field Point Road; 125-143 West Putnam Avenue; and 393-407
East Putnam Avenue. The Chimblo
family has been building, leasing, and maintaining properties
in Greenwich for three generations since the 1930’s. Ashforth
has been an investor, owner, and manager since 1896.

Field Point Road is a 25,000 square foot, Class A office building
built in 1974. It is located within the Central Greenwich Business
District directly across from Town Hall. Major
tenants are Field Point Bank & Trust and PNC Advisors.

West Putnam Avenue, a 10,000 square foot upscale retail
space, is conveniently located close to Greenwich Avenue shopping.
Their major retail tenants are Cosi, Putnam Liquors, Go Figure
and JP Morgan Chase.

407 East Putnam Avenue, built in 1995, is a 14,000 square foot,
high-end retail space with Post Road visibility and demographics. Tenants
include Jos A. Banks, Atelier and Members Credit Union.
Bay Pond
Holdings LLC hired Ashforth to manage their recently purchased,
1290 East Main Street building in Stamford, CT.

East Main was built in 1989 and is 54,880 square feet. It is located
near I-95 on the Stamford – Darien border. The
property owner and tenants will be able to utilize Building Engines
– Ashforth’s web-based service request system that allows for
instantaneous submissions of tenant needs. Each request goes
directly into the system and to the property manager’s PDA which
enables the property management team to resolve issues and concerns
even more promptly.
Major tenants at 1290 East Main Street include Bartlett Tree
Experts, Corporate Express and Norseland Inc.
Starwood
Capital selected Ashforth to manage 591 West Putnam
Avenue in Greenwich, CT. The building is 33,750 square feet. The
building is located downtown in the heart of Greenwich and conveniently
located near I-95. Starwood Capital is the only tenant
at the property.
Ashforth has taken on all five properties in just the past month.
